The need; Part 2

Now that we discussed redemption, the body of Christ, the church and the two types of people. Let’s dig a little deeper into the plan of salvation.

(5) How can we be saved? Ephesians 2:8 by grace you have been saved through faith

GRACE is a free gift from God. No benefit comes from any gift unless it is accepted, opened, and used.

(6) What do you think that divides us into groups from being headed to salvation and headed to hell? Romans 1:16 salvation to every one that believeth;

Is it FAITH that puts us across the line of salvation? Let the Bible answer. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(7) why do we repent? Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out

I don’t know about you. But if someone offers me a chance to do with my screw ups, I would a fool not to take it. We are saved by GRACE through FAITH. It must be a faith that is strong enough to lead us to REPENT of our sins. Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. REPENT is like Reverse on a car; we can turn our lives around. We are truly sorry that we have sinned against God.
